HOW DOES IT WORK?

EMS BODYSHAPING   – a form of high-intensity focused  electromagnetic technology that encourages targeted muscles to contract. The muscles targeted by EMS BODYSHAPING are usually the tummy, booty an legs. These muscle contractions mimic the process of doing thousands of crunches or squats, without having to actually take part in any exercise. You simply lie still, and the electromagnetic signals will do all of the work for you!

During the treatment, a large device will be placed over the muscle group that you wish to target and is secured with a comfortable band. Once it is secured, the device is switched on and the electromagnetic frequency will start to penetrate your muscles, causing them to contract. At first the contractions will be gentle but will gradually increase throughout your session. Your muscles may feel tight and you may get a tingling sensation, but no pain. Your therapist can adjust the intensity throughout the session.

The treatment is non-invasive and requires no recovery time. Sessions will last around 30 minutes and we recommend a course of 6 sessions to see optimum results. The sessions should be scheduled 2-3 days apart top allow for muscle recovery. For most people, it takes 6 weeks for the muscle to build up and 3 weeks for the fat remodelling.

A course of 4-6 treatments is recommended with each one separated at least 2 days apart.

Positive results are usually reported 2-4 weeks after having the last session and continue to improve following the treatment.
